Introduction and Definitions

In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to HMC Cargo. “You,” “your,” and “the Client” refer to the person or business using our services. Our services include local transportation in the UAE, warehousing services in the UAE, 4PL logistics, international cargo, and last mile delivery.

Service Agreement

When you book a service with HMC Cargo, you are entering into a professional agreement.

We agree to handle your goods with care and follow the agreed-upon timeline.
You agree to provide accurate information about the cargo, including its weight, size, and value.
We reserve the right to refuse any cargo that is illegal, hazardous, or not properly packed.

Payments and Fees

Quotes: All price quotes are based on the information you provide. If the actual weight or volume of the cargo is different, the price may change.
Payment Terms: Payments must be made according to the timeline stated in your invoice. For most trucking services in Dubai, payment is required before or at the time of delivery unless a credit account is established.
Late Payments: We reserve the right to charge a fee for late payments or to hold the cargo until the balance is paid.

Packing and Preparation

To ensure the safety of your goods during cargo transport solutions in Dubai:

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure items are packed in strong, suitable boxes or crates.
For furniture storage in the UAE, items should be cleaned and disassembled if possible.
HMC Cargo is not responsible for damage caused by improper packing done by the client.

Insurance and Liability

While we take every step to be safe, accidents can happen.

Limited Liability: Our liability for loss or damage is limited to a specific amount unless you choose to purchase additional cargo insurance.
High-Value Items: For Fine Art storage in Dubai or high-value electronics, we strongly recommend purchasing full-coverage insurance through us or your own provider.
Exclusions: We are not responsible for damage caused by natural disasters (Force Majeure), government delays, or pre-existing faults in the items.

Customs and Documentation

For our international cargo service in the UAE and import service in the UAE:

You are responsible for providing the correct import documentation in the UAE.
Any fines or storage fees caused by incorrect paperwork or customs delays at the port are the responsibility of the client.
We will act as your agent for customs clearance in Dubai, but we cannot control the decisions made by government officers.

Warehousing and Storage

Cancellations and Delays

Cancellations: If you need to cancel a local transportation UAE booking, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
Delays: While we strive for same day delivery in Dubai, we are not responsible for delays caused by heavy traffic, road accidents, or extreme weather conditions.

Prohibited Items

We do not transport or store:

Illegal drugs or prohibited chemicals.
Explosives, fireworks, or weapons.
Live animals (unless special arrangements are made).
Perishable food items (unless using specialized refrigerated trucks).

Privacy Policy

We value your privacy. Any personal or business information you provide will only be used to manage your shipments and improve our logistics management company in Dubai. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Changes to Terms

HMC Cargo may update these terms from time to time to reflect new laws or changes in our supply chain solutions in the UAE. The latest version will always be available on our website.
